What father’s day reminds me of.

I don’t know whether am writing this as a regret or as a painful memory. Each year father’s day is celebrated always reminds me of my sad past. I don’t know whether I will call it jealousy.

It’s already 21 years my dad left me in this world. He left without saying a word to me. He left without giving me at least a pinch of encouragement.            Back then I usually say to myself that I won’t forgive my dad for leaving me when I needed him most. But as am growing; I then understood that death isn’t something someone will just decide to partake in it because even those that died never and will never accept death themselves.

If I sounds jealous please bear with me because I wished to still have him till now, but God knows the best. I will still wish you happy father’s day dad. Though I don’t know you very well, but I can sense that you are a good person and I took that part myself because by the grace of God, I work tirelessly to be a good person. I took from where you stopped just to make sure that all your good expectations were all accomplished.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

I HUSTLE FOR THE FUTURE.

I hustle for future, I work for future, I have been busy for future.

Everything I do is all about the future. I study, I read, I keep awake all through the night just for future. To become great and have a wonderful future; you have to deny yourself too much pleasure and run the race as if it’s the final one.

Believe me, so many of my friends on this platform will surely know that it has been long since I published article last. Yea sure, but there is a proverb that says ” frog doesn’t run in the afternoon in vain, it’s either it’s chasing after something or something is chasing after it”.

Dear friends, I have truly come back online on this platform. I will still continue from where I stopped. I have been busy throughout all this while  that’s why you hardly see my post. It was because of my study because if you don’t help yourself; no one will help you. The fact that I have come back online doesn’t mean that am completely free, but I will try to squeeze and adjust my schedules just to make everything balance.

I have really missed you all. Bursh Cares.

Finally am back to blogosphere

Dear friends am so sorry for being offline for Long, it was because of how busy I used to be and also because of so many school activities.

Life is sometimes difficult to manage which means that you can make a plan but on the long run one or two things will make the whole plan fail. It’s been tough in the school because to be the best; you must work like the best. That was exactly what I have been doing but I promise to start writing posts from now on. I will certainly squeeze things so that I will balance everything.

Happy blogging. Bursh cares.

Great rewards lies on

The hands that labour’s for it

When seated and waited for it

You’re wasting your time

For it’s not earned, instead,

It came out of hard work

For hands that labour’s

Will never go hungry

Get up and work for your today

Work for your tomorrow

Work for your future and

Work for your generation

Is it bad for you to lay the foundation of success in your family?

For me it’s too good to be bad;

For your labour

Will be remembered

From generation to generation.

So buckle up and make a move

For your future will be brighter.

What Vision Is All About

Vision is the ability to think about or plan the future with great imagination or wisdom.

Vision also deals with imagination or dreams. You have to imagine it with great hope of its coming to fulfillment.
Moreover, the vision am talking about is not that of religion which you can get through your dreams or similar experiences but am talking about the vision you, as an ordinary individual, have to think out and plan seriously for with great determination, vigour and enthusiasm.

We have three calibers of people, namely, those that do not have vision at all, those that have vision or dreams in life but don’t know how to make their vision and dream to come through and those that have vision and know how to achieve their visions and are working hard towards achieving their visions and dreams in life.
It is quite unfortunate that many students in this world do not have vision in life. They do not actually have dream, focus or goals to be achieved. They’re just in to school because others are there or because they’re forced to go by their parents or guardians. If you are such a student, it is absolutely obvious that you can’t achieve anything. Why? Because you do not have any target. It is when you have a target first, and then you will be able to plan for this particular target.

The word “achieve” actually means: “to succeed in reaching a particular goal.” But when you don’t have a goal, you will automatically fall prey to failure in all ramifications of your life endeavours. “Where there is no goal, there will be no achievement”.

Do you find anything interesting in a football match where there is no goal-post? Your answers should be No, but the football match where there are two goal posts is quite interesting and enjoyable. This is because the two teams playing the match will be fighting, struggling and striving to score goals in favour of their own team.

I will also like you to agree with me that there is nothing interesting or enjoyable in the life of any student or individual who doesn’t have any goal, vision, dream, focus or target in life. That particular person is just wasting his/her precious time. “A life without vision is meaningless”.

But I want to assure you that you can still make it for it’s not late now. Only what you have to do is to sit down and think something wonderful. And then just imagine something prestigious, lucrative and significant in your mind, struggle for it with great vigour and enthusiasm. When you do this, then you will achieve your expectation in life.

I want you to have this mentality that you can really achieve whatever you want to achieve in this life. But if you have vision already, do not fear or be frightened. Just work out your vision or dreams in life and you will see that your dreams will be a thing of reality.

“The greatest enemy of success is the fear of success”. So set fear aside and success will follow you with immediate effect. Let this vision of yours be in your mind always. Don’t allow anything at all to take this vision away from you. Misdeeds can really take your vision away, for through your wrongdoings; many things can work contrary to your vision in life.

Pride is really a bad concept in one’s vision. Many people have lost their focus due to pride. They placed themselves superior and others as being inferior to them. Remember that “Pride goes before a fall”.

“Where there is no vision the people perish….”  therefore, the result for no vision is quite tragic and dangerous. Can you embark on a journey without making up your mind on where you’re going to? But a student without vision is just like a man who embarked on a journey without a definite destination in view. This actually implies that such a man is going nowhere.

In fact, to live without vision is to live in confusion, distractions and disappointments. This is because, when you aim at nothing you will surely hit at nothing. Men who left indelible marks in the history of humanity were men and women of vision. They aimed at something. My prayer is that you will not aim at nothing, and then get nothing rather you will aim at something and get something. “That is vision”.

Above all things, desire marks the beginning of everything we are and all we are to be in this life. You can never be what you never desired. Without desire there will not be any vision. Your desire would turn out to be your vision. Do you really know that what and where you’re today is as a result of what your desires were some years ago and it is sure that where and what you will be in the future would automatically be determined by what your desire is today. “Without yesterday there will be no today”. Yesterday brought about today and today will bring about tomorrow.
In fact desire will give you a focus in the journey of life. Desire which is a strong wish to have or do something will help you a lot in knowing your vision and working it out. It can equally help you to handle distractions that may come on your way which are not in accordance with your vision.

Remember that “you can only deserve what you desired and you can’t deserve what you never desired”. An engineer deserved to be an engineer, just because he desired to be an engineer. Know it that desire is all about “Strong wish to have or do something” you will never rest until that which you are desiring comes to pass. “It can be delayed but can’t be denied”.

Is Female Circumcision Right or Wrong(FGM)? What is your take on that?

Female genital mutilation

Typically carried out by a traditional circumciser using a blade, FGM is conducted from days after birth to puberty and beyond. In half the countries for which national figures are available, most girls are cut before the age of five.

Procedures differ according to the country or ethnic group. They include removal of the clitoral hood and clitoral glans; removal of the inner labia; and removal of the inner and outer labia and closure of the vulva. In this last procedure (known as infibulation), a small hole is left for the passage of urine and menstrual fluid; the vagina is opened for intercourse and opened further for childbirth.

It is usually initiated and carried out by women, who see it as a source of honour, and who fear that failing to have their daughters and granddaughters cut will expose the girls to social exclusion.

The health effects depend on the procedure; they can include recurrent infections, difficulty urinating and passing menstrual flow, chronic pain, the development of cysts, an inability to get pregnant, complications during childbirth, and fatal bleeding. There are no known health benefits.

There have been international efforts since the 1970s to persuade practitioners to abandon FGM. As a result it has been outlawed or restricted in most of the countries in which it occurs, although the laws are poorly enforced. The opposition to the practice is not without its critics, particularly among anthropologists, who have raised difficult questions about cultural relativism and the universality of human rights.

The procedures are generally performed by a traditional circumciser (cutter or exciseuse) in the girls’ homes, with or without anaesthesia. The cutter is usually an older woman, but in communities where the male barber has assumed the role of health worker he will perform FGM too.

When traditional cutters are involved, non-sterile devices are likely to be used, including knives, razors, scissors, glass, sharpened rocks and fingernails. According to a nurse in Uganda, quoted in 2007 in The Lancet, a cutter would use one knife on up to 30 girls at a time.

Normally, circumcisions are usually for males but the system of females being circumcised or whatever they call it is quite unacceptable. Throughout my research and findings about this so called FGM; majority of people opposed such act and therefore ban it from continues existence in their countries.

Through my findings too as recorded above. It was clearly recorded that it has “No Health Benefits” no matter the fact of some excuses applied before indulging in such act, it is called the violation of human rights because some victims doesn’t support it, while some women ran away with their daughters in other to avoid them being circumcised or FGM.
