What Is Beauty?

​“Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.”

Your body makes you sexy, your smile makes you pretty, but it’s your personality that makes you beautiful. Saint Augustine said, “Since love grows within you, so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul.”

So many people have really mistaken body appearance as beauty, but that’s a false identification. For you to know someone who is really beautiful; you need to access the innermost being of such person. Whenever a lady started claiming that she is beautiful; I always look at such lady either I smile or laugh. I do that because they never know what it meant to be beautiful. When you dress well, make up, come out looking classy while you have ugly character inside you, I tell you that those aesthetic appearances are just a fantasy because when a man who wants to marry you just because of your appearance finally access your character/behavior; surely, he won’t look back while running.

This topic is not only for ladies, but men also. When you’re only handsome outside but with awful characteristics, when a lady noticed that; she will surely leave you. Even people you rapport with can desert you knowing that your beauty and handsome are just camouflage that covers your inner rottenness. Let us not allow our physical appearance get into our head, and forgetting the main cornerstone which is our inner beauty. 

Life without inner beauty is like embarking on a journey without having any destination in mind. Inner beauty is what that can show you the to positive paths/ people. Because your character determines your personality not your physical appearance.

Remember this! “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” You can’t give what you don’t have. If you don’t have inner beauty, how then can you possess outer one? ( Hear this! What goes inside us doesn’t defile us, but it what comes out defiles us).

If you don’t have this inner beauty, it’s time to start beautifying your inner being, because there is still time for you to do it. Don’t focus on your outer appearance which you called beauty. But focus on the inner beauty of: mind, heart, spirit and soul which is the REAL beauty.
